Avisynth: Installation of Avisynth?

Hello:
I do not know if this has been asked before, but it would be great if when installing the program, it would automatically unistalled earlier versions of Avisynth. (removing all traces of the previous version). I know that there is an unistall command, but am not sure if it removes everything from the register keys or not.

Sorry if this sounds like a silly request or if it has been requested before....... (Perhaps I need to read some more about it)
Thanks

Uninstall removes everything. It is optinal to remove the registry key for the plugin directory.

The only thing that can go wrong is, if you have avisynth.dll files placed all over the harddrive - this doesn't happend with the default installer though. Search for it, remove any you may find.

Thank you Shodan:

That is exactly what I do, meaning I use the uninstall command furnished by the program. I have also deleted all avisynth.dlls found in the computer, but did not want to mess around with the register keys. It appears that for some reason or another, I have to unistall and re-install avisynth for it to go back into working mode. But here again, this may be a W98SE issue. So far the newest version is working, but it took me a couple of unistall-install tries to make it work.....
