load virtual dub filters in avisynth?
hi i'm looking for a way to load virtual dub filters
with in a avs file....two or so weeks ago i posted a topic relating to finding a good way of fixing darkness in a movie but the only way i did find it is in a virtual dub filter and i wanted to be able to convert the movie with out converting it twice so is there a way... i know some filters that were used in a avs file..please help...o by the way its called autolevels(not sure the address) |
never mind, i think i found out how to do it
load virtualdub and the corrensponding avs file with source avi.selecet full processing and in the filter "autolevels" clcik file then start frameserver and save the vdr file and then load it in a avs file like a normal avi file i'm i correct does this work |
Yes it's work but you have an autolevel filter directly into also avisynth !
|
every time i tried using it my source would go to white then black
and sometime green...have no clue why it would do it i read everything on the avisynth webpage and have no clue why it would do that |

its wierd that it would do that, so that why i needed to
load a vd filter. i even tried use hybridfupp(i found on doom9 forum) it suppose to find dark areas and fix it but it didnt do anything...maybe i don't know what i am doing.. gosh what a learning experience avisynth can be way to many functions and bugs but its getting better |
HybridFuPP detects dark parts in order to apply stronger filtering to them. It is theoretically speaking possible to apply luma correction instead of filtering, but it would be very unnatural. So this is not the right way.
Use instead colorYUV(gain_y = xxx) or colorYUV(off_y = xxx) ; you can use trim() or applyrange() to apply it only to a part of your clip. See Avisynth doc for further info. Regards, FuPP |
