Captured video from DV cameras is jerky
Hi,
I`m quite new to this, i hope someone can help. I`ve captured footage from my JVC miniDV cam using MGI videowave 5 (this is the only program my cam seems to work with ) & looking for the best kvcd template to burn to cdr to play on my dansai 1010. I need good quality so have used the full D1 Dvd template (PAL) giving about 20min per cdr. Problem is unless i de-interlace in Tmpgenc (Not quite sure which de-interlace method is best) the video is quite jerky & un-natural especially during fast motion. Why should i need to de-interlace ? i thought this loses quality ?. Also can i get more than 20 min per cd without losing quality ? |
Daz,
i wouldnt use the deinterlace in tmpgenc. Depending on you preference, try using either virtual dub to (frameserv) deinterlace or use the decomb/deinterlace filters in Avisynth. They'll do a better job of getting rid of the lines. ztr |
