Recording Video: Best settings for WinDVR2 ?

Kwag or others,

What tweaks have you done to WinDVR2 to get the best capture results to MPEG 1 or 2? ANy reccomended GOP or MOTION settings?

I was thinking of capturing at 352x240 MPEG-2 4000K bitrate and then use AVS and goto a KVCD 352x240.

For that high bit rate, you can leave the default setting. See if you can use at least 5,000Kbps and 352x480 so you capture both fields

Because if you capture 352x240, you're missing half the information. Take a look at this: http://www.100fps.com ( Long but good  )
