WinTVGO player alternative
 

I've loaded the BT drivers in lieu of the drivers that came with WinTVGO 190.

Is there some way I can use a player for TV on my monitor without the WinTVGO drivers installed? I have not installed any WinTVGO software.

Is there a generic player available?

As long as you have VFW driver installed, you should be able to view TV
in a window w/ any software able to capture w/ this driver during PREVIEW
mode!!

Some examples:
* AVI_IO
* VDUB
* VirtualVCR
* etc., etc., .. ..

Remember, these are not TV enhanced (no special buttons and things for
TV viewing) just plain PREVIEW window that you can watch on your PC
monitor, but w/out the clunkyness of the WinTV-GO 's memory-hogging
resources etc.
