which codecs do you have installed by chance?

andybno1 04-03-2003 04:30 PM

I use morgan mjpeg codec but it doesn't look like its down to the codec, the fact that it shows in the preview window before I have even captured.

do you have any divx codex installed like the nimo codec pack etc...
any windows media player 9 or its codec?

What OS are you using? Do you off-hand if you're using vfw or wdm for capture (as a video driver)?. What direct X version? Which capture board/video card?

Have you by chance tried another vcr, another tape?
If you capture from a camcorder or tv or from dvd, does it behave the same way?

Do you have any type of adobe gammas and the correct drivers for the monitor installed?
