Recording Video: Msi tv@Nywhere Problems

I can use the program that comes with it.I have tried vdub-doesn't work.Supposedly I am able to go from my cam through this but haven't had it work at all.Any suggestions?
Also what resolution is the best to capture TV Shows at?Just curios as I can do VCD's,SVCD and DVD bitrates. Not sure how to set up KVCD in this thing, don't think I can.But I could just re-encode to KVCD.
Any help would be appreciatted.
I have the audio in to the card from cam and s-video in from cam.Yet I can't capture anything. The audio works fine but no video at all through any programs.Tried v-dub.iuvcr nothing works.

what software and which drivers does it come with , by chance?
kinda sounds like a vfw driver issue. or maybe even codec, but doubt it.
what OS are u running?
As for res- for tv shows i'd go 352x480, very flexible resolution.
You could try 720x480/576 for pal.
Can you give us a breakdown of your pc?
i.e. hardware, specs, OS, separate capture drive, etc...
?
