Hi oliefranco, go here: http://btwincap.sourceforge.net and download the drivers. Double check there that your capture card is supported. I believe so.

Ha! I know this one!

Now I was using power VCR II and capturing directly to MPEG format. If that is your goal, here's what you have to do:

Power VCR II (or at least the propriety built I got with my card) only gives you a certain number of resolutions you can use. I think it gives you 480 x 480 and some others.

To RECORD at 352 x 480, You need to go into your registry. (Be careful, you don't want to accidentally delete any registry keys... )

start->run->"regedit"->enter

Use the search fuction in the registry to search the registry for powervcrII or the company that makes it (Cybermedia ? can't remenber exactly which.) You will find a folder with that name. In that folder you will see I think two or three values that have dimensions listed out in a format like "240x480, 480x480,..."

what you need to do is using the EXACT same format the other dimensions are in, add 352 by 480 to your value data. Using the example above, you could make it:

"240x480, 352x480, 480x480,..."
or
"352x480, 240x480, 480x480,..."

The order doesn't matter. but you want to add it to those lists.

Exit and then reopen power VCR II. Now when you try to create a custom capture profile, you will have 352x480 as one of your options.
