Alright, next prob. I've done a few caps. and I've noticed that when I play back the file it has pops in the audio. These are very noticeable even on my DVD player. While I'm capping there is no trace of it though.

Any suggestions?

Also, when I try to frameserve and I load the file in TMPEG it locks up. Yes I tried the .avi trick and I can get it to load the file but when I press start it locks up

Any help would seriously kick some ass at this moment.

I can answer the audio problem. Check your input audio level. It seems it's to high, and it's clipping.

Get soundforge and use the click and crackle removal tool. This will remove pops common in LPs as well as analog FM Hi-Fi tracks in VHS tapes.

If you use nero you can check the waveform to see if you go past 0db level. That will let you know for sure right away if your input level is too high. Virtualdub has a VU meter too. I don't use it though because I work my audio in soundforge all the time.
