Strange noise patterns in video recording?
Hi.
I've captured a sample material from cable, and it is cover by patern noise. This looks like PC power supply noise. This are horizontal luma lines on whole picture, couple pixels in period, mostly static, but drifting up-down-up-.... Any idea how to filter that :?: I've tryed this type of filters: Quote:

Hi Hydeus,
Seems like noise geting into your video cables. The only way to reduce that (if it's being induced in the cable) is by putting filters on your video cable ends. Like ferrite beads. You get those at RadioShack or similar stores. -kwag |
Thx Karl.
Yes I know that this can be easly separated by analog filters if it comes through cable, but I suspected that maybe there is some avs filters solution. I'm pretty sure that this comes from my computer, while TV set connected to the same cable gives me clear picture. |
Have you tried changing your capture card to a different slot :?:
Sometimes it makes a hell of a difference ;) -kwag |
I'll try that 8) Thx.
