@jorel,

You are GREAT!!!!! Your recommendations are more than I had hoped
for and I thank you so very much I have some minor changes to
a customer's website and decided to learn more about .html, xml, etc.
I'd like to understand how to create those moving objects within a page
using java or some other programming tool. Your links have given me
a good start.

@BP,

Check CoolPage: http://www.coolpage.com/cpg.html

Remember the original kvcd.net web site
That's what I used
It's as easy as using a desktop publishing program.
You just move the images around visually, and it takes care of everything.

@Kwag and Jorel,

Check out this webpage editor:

http://www.arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/

I tried coolpage, but it wouldn't allow editing an existing webpage in
.html format. It had to be .cpg (cool page) format. Arachnophilia
has a "beauty up code" that's really nice The only negative is
having to install java to get it to run, so far I like the GUI and basic
functions.

You don't have to
You just "drag" elements from an existing web site, straight into your program
Just like this program, which is only for MAC, but look at the animation:
http://www.softpress.com/en/freeway/feature_tour

If you are doing web pages on a MAC, you migh want to take a look at that program, "FreeWay".
It's one of the best web page editors out there, but only available for the MAC. It's similar to Quark Express" DTP, so it's very easy to design pages.
