Latest update for win2000

Win2000 is going out of support program from M$.

All the patches release since last SP4 (xx/xx/2003) have been merged in a "Update Rollup" taht you should install if you run win2000 SP4.

Rollup, means all needed stuff till now is "packet" to a 31947 KB Downloadsize?

So support of Win2000 is over :(
I never had Problems so I never switched to XPsp1 and therefore sp2 upgrading issues neve touched me.

Which problems do I could expect, if changing to WinXPsp2 ? Used only in an environment of Video usage. I heared of some problems when people chaged to sp2.

A lot of old patches incoved the same files or set of files (winsock.dll for instance. That can explain the small size of the package.

I just realize yesterday, when Karl sid is win2000 has crashed and he restored winXP, than I run win2000 on my office laptop since one year without any problem. In the same time, I deghosted my winXP backup half a dozen of times on my home PC !!!

Lot of hard work to have all to work correctly aftet the installation. But after that everything should be okay. If you forget what I told just above.
