HCEnc 0.20.0 has the same problem (HC 0.19.1 did not).
If someone has one of the tool that Pro did a long time ago, please send it to me.

Thanks.

I have it!
What language do you need?

Edited: I found that error is related to xvidvfw.dll file. Why dont try to replace that file for another version, backuping the original one, of course.

Edited2: If you are using Windows Vista let me know that.
Also i can provide several files for several XP OS languages to host it permanent in KVCD.net. Do you think it would be possible?

Hi Luis,

Nice to see you even if not often .

What about making a rar with all the versions you have ? I will host it.

For Vista, I received my upgrade DVD but wondering about something :

I don't have anything to encode right now but I will try. May be you can upload me a dll that you know is working well ?

Thanks for the rar anyway, it is stored there :

I will do a message with more explanations later.

The problem is not XP or VISTA i think.
The problem is xvidvfw.dll.
I think that xvid developers have to fix that dll file to be XP/Vista compatible.

The error "memory can't be read" is internally liked to how the system assign, and free, memory banks to a process. I never saw process trying to read a memory address that it does not own under other OS than XP. I'm quite sure this do not happens under wine for instance. I think Vista is not a rewrite, it's a spin-off.
