Nice PDF reader
Yesterday I was updating my tools when I noticed I was still using acrobat reader 7.0.2.
So I downloaded the updates. These are huge files with more than 5MB. Then when I was finished with it, I loaded a PDF document on it. This baby takes years to load all the plugins and crap that comes with it. So I searched for a replacement and I found FoxIt here http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php. FoxIt is comes in a 1.15MB zip file. After extracted it's about 2.4MB. It's fast as hell loading up, and it's also fast loading a PDF. It has all the features that I need besides one: it won't act as a browser plugin where you open a PDF inside your browser. You'll have to download the PDF and then load it on to FoxIt. This tool is freeware. Cheers |
Thanks. I downloaded it already.
