Sphinx-4 Speech Recognition open source program

@anyone,

I'm searching for options with speech recognition programs to transcribe
spoken word into a text file or MS Word. The best options I've found so
far are:

1) Sphinx-4 (open source) http://cmusphinx.sourceforge.net/sphinx4/

2) Dragon Naturally Speaking version 8 - $90

3) Windows XP Office using custom install "command and dictation"

I'm curious if anyone has used Sphinx-4 which is Java based and runs on
multi-platforms including Windows 2000 which I have. I tried a demo
program, "ZipCity" in which you speak the zipcode and Sphinx displays
the city and state. It worked pretty good, but for voice to text, has anyone
tried this program. If you have tried other programs, please post your
comments. :)
