iRiver Clix

This is actually related to video, but I wasn't sure what forum to put it under.

I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with the iRiver Clix portable media player. I'm thinking of getting one of those over an iPod nano, since it also comes with video.

The question I have for anyone on this site, is can you give me any more information on what "MPEG-4 Simple profile QVGA format" means? I know it only plays at 15 fps, but was wondering if I can create that type of video using the NOTCH matrix with HCencoder or TMPGenc? iRiver supplies its own "iriverter" encoder for free on its web site, but I suspect KVCD encoding methods are probably superior in quality (even when viewed on a 2.2" screen).

Thanks!
Icarus

Notch Matrix is not aimed to do MPEG-4 video. So even without talking about this iRever product, the answer would be that there is no real interest in that.
