Is anyone using a capture card with Linux?

My desktop at home currently has an early haupauge card (I am sure i spelled that wrong). My desktop is currently running Ubuntu 7.04 as well as pclinux2007. I would like to get back into the capturing scene. I would just like to know if anyone is currently using a linux to capture, and what hardware and software is being used.

This may extend to BSD as well. I have been using pc-bsd to keep myself familiarized with BSD family  .

Which btw, PC-BSD is now my default desktop at home ;)

On the capture card topic, you can use a Win TV PVR and it will work great under Ubunto.
Have you tried the latest version of LinuxMCE :?: http://www.linuxmce.com
I believe they have fixed many issues, but I haven't tried it yet (the latest version)
Feeling brave for a try
