We need kvcd templates for TMPGenc 3.0

Does anyone have them?Is new TMPGenc 3.0 any faster than previous version.

Dialhot 06-05-2004 10:40 PM

Do you know how to read the forum ?

 There is a tmpgenc section
 Templates already have been discussed in it
 speed is the same, prediction is the same (ie as bad as before), there is no change in any of the interresting part of the software

In other words : nothing new under the sun. That is WHY you won't have any new templates.

But you can do it and share them if you want.

Moved to TmpgEnc forum... No idea why this was posted in DIKO forum... :?

At this thread in Portuguese forum people adapted some templates:

Use google or altavista to translate.

But like Dialhot said, it's basically the same thing in a new interface.

And where btw a mpeg1 version wont be offerd as free anymore, isn't it, or did I catched up something wrong, ... as till now I didnt test it :)
So a totally new price concept based only on a new interface ??? :(

Well the audio it encoded wasn't that bad actually :P It's really easy to use software now :) . Unlike mencoder :(

Hi Roc :D
Maybe we have a similar problem with mencoder.
In order to gain some speed it's best to work directly from VOB input.
But we're ripping in single VOB mode otherwise is a pain in the *** to make mencoder read several VOBs as a unique movie.
In such sense and if you want to use single VOB ~6Gb filesize W98 users are foced to change to FAT32 otherwise "caput"
Yes in the end there is a way but it's not a fancy one ;-)
Cheers
