Hi Everyone,

I've separated video file into "movie" and "credits". This way i can
encode "credits" using a lower vbr_cq and bitrate and increase the
"movie" quality, similiar to GordonKnot. The result is two .m1v files.
I tried joining with Tmpgenc and the results would not. Can someone
recommend a proggie to join them creating one .m1v file.

Thanx

Just use vcdeasy and burn both files at once.

Hi, try HJSplit-http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/#hjjoin

add .00x to your .m1v files and join with this proggy- it worked for me {I did a 10 sec capture, encoded two small mpeg1 kvcdx3 video clips and joined with HJSplit and loaded the joined file into WMP and it played fine}

If you meant Camel joiner, i've never had any luck with this one on win2k server- it always freezes but here's a link to that- http://www.webattack.com/get/camelmpeg.shtml

Thanks ren,

I gave hjsplit a try and it worked just as you said. By encoding
credits at CQ_VBR 12 or less, the size is drastically reduced and
is the difference between keeping credits or exclude it. Camel's
Mpeg joiner also gave me problems.
