Mencoder and 1-file-VOBs

Okay, I haven't even begun to ATTEMPT Mencoder yet, but after browsing a couple guides I discovered that they say your VOB files must be 1 large file, and not split into 1 gb files as default. Well what if I already have my DVD ripped and the VOBs are split? Is there an easy way to get these to work with Mencoder? Thanks!

Simply re-ripp for HD to HD with DVDDecrypter (set correctly the option in IFO or File mode to NOT split the vobs).

Or use DVDShrink with no compression (set the option correctly also). That's what I do.

Or you can use the dos command "copy" for merging the VOB parts.
But the ShrinkDVD way is more comfortable and you also got some nice extras you can do directly in ShrinkDVD.

And you can also remove the credits in the movie if you don't want them in your KDVD :-)

That was exact the little "extra" beside that I wanted to point on!
As you gave me the hint on that ;-)
Ok the new version of packshot also supports that but ShrinkDVD is a nice tool for many things ... I cant even live anymore without it --- as its so useful in many ways beside joining Vobs, cutting extracting etc.!
