Bitrates: Using calumatic with two MPEGs
Hi in Calumatic audio streams do I change it to 2 for dual streams of audio for the 1 mpg and change the whole file size to around 250 mbs then use tmpgenc as usual? use a 352*240 template NTSC . Then when that finishes encoding (hoping that it will still be 250mbs size) and I muliplex it into a svvcd, I can just drop the whole 250 mbs into VCDEASY with another 250 mb file (2 audio streams)and burn? WHat can I do to make it seamless?

I can't understand your problem.
What do you want to do? Where is the problem? Try to use small sentences, please as it may help me. Cheers |

Unless it's a very short video :!: -kwag |
the video is around 1/2 hr long anyway... and if I were to cram 4 into 1 kvcd it would have to be that amount of mbs wouldn't it.
Sorry rds_correia... what I meant was if I had 2 streams of audio in a mpg and wanted to keep it that way. I have like 4 1/2 hr mpgs and wanted to cram it onto 1 kvcd. |
Let me see if I understood this straight:
You have 4 videos 30minutes each and you want to have 2 audio tracks 30 minutes each on all of them. That's 120 minutes of video and 240 minutes of selectable audio!! Is that it? But if so and if you're using 80minutes CD-Rs there's something wrong in your calculations when you say they'll be 250MB each. 250x4=1000MB No 80minutes CD-R can hold 1000MB. 80minutes CD-R can hold 800MB! And with 8 audio tracks overall your 4 video tracks will look bad for sure :( Try 2 movies with 2 audio tracks in each movie at the most. That's 60 minutes of video and 120 minutes of selectable audio. And still I hope your movies will look ok even at low res. Cheers |
