Difference between KVCDx3 and SKVCD?

Just wondering about the differences between the KVCDx3 and the SKVCD templates were and if they were major. ie If I changed KVCDx3(MPEG2) to the resolution of 352x480, in what ways would it be different from the SKVCD template.

Just asking because wanted to know if changing that would give me a better result because my player only supports the SKVCD at present.

Hi cybermage,
The difference is that the x3 is higher quality than SKVCD ( CVD, SVCD ).
It looks slightly sharper than the SKVCD on large TV's, and a huge difference viewed on a HDTV. But if you're happy with the SKVCD, you can stick to that, as you're still gaining play time with the SKVCD. If you change the resolution on the x3 MPEG-2 to 352x480, you end up with SKVCD
