Hello to all my old friends. I've been away a long while. As those of you who knew me know, I have been terribly ill as the aftereffect of a car accident a few years ago.
I have been allowed home last month, and I'm back on my computer, although I still don't understand most of what you guys are saying.
I got a DVD burner so I guess I should be trying to learn how to make a DVD Backup. I see Dialhot is still around and heading up the DVD section, with some others. It's nice to see names of people I feel like I know still in this group. I guess thats a testament to what Karl started and all of you together have built. Anyway, hello to all.
I probably won't be on much, but I hope to talk with some of you within these pages.

Hi Eightball,

Welcome back
If you now have a DVD burner, you're in the right section
You have a lot to read and catch up
Take your time and look around the forum. You'll find a lot of new things.

Welcome back

I can't tell you Karl how nice it feels to be back!!
Thanks so much, as always, for your kindness and hospitality.

Is there a KDVD guide I should start with?

I don't remember a lot of things, but I do remember its good etiquette to read, read, read, then ask questions.

Look for the forum section "DVDREasy".
That's a program that will let you convert a DVD-9 to DVD-5, and just select "Notch" matrix on the options
That will get you going

Hi 8ball .
Welcome back.
See, that's what we were commenting on another thread .
We hate when somebody suddenly disappears from the face of internet without a trace.
Thankfully you're feeling better and now that you're at home, I hope you can fully recover from your accident .
Cheers

Full recovery and/or Full health will never be an option again I'm afraid.
But lets focus on the fun stuff.. kvcd and kdvd.
Thanks all for the good wishes and welcomes home.
