im using the kvcd plus 352*480 template, and basically my mpeg is not really anywhere near the original file quality. im encoding from a DivX file with good quality. i want the output file to have similar quality to the original avi file. anywayz the main problem is that in dark scenes there are a lot of blocks visible, whilst in the original file there isnt. any ideas about what to do, such as changes to options in the advanced tab??

ps: just about every file i encode has a framerate of 23.976 frames,at least according to VDUB,but everytime i load em into tmpgenc the inverse telecine option is selected. i thought this was to pull 29 fps down to 23?? should i leave it as it is??
