I ripped "Unbreakable", the frame type kept changing between "progressive" and "interlaced" constantly, it just like switching back and forth in one second. The frame rate showed -- 29.97, and it also showed "FILM". What is going on? What should I do with this DVD.

I encoded this DVD anyway (I selected Forced Film in DVD2AVI), I muxed it with bbmpeg in an ordinary way, guess what? The final output out of sync but the picture was normal ( I mean very good). What happened?

Demux your mpeg with TMPEG. Open your VOB's with MPEG Mediator, and extract the the audio to WAV. Take this WAV file with headac3he, and convert it to .mp2. Now mux again your .m1v and the .mp2 with BBMpeg. See if it's in sync.
