weel....
headac3he in d2s works using sweethead only...are you using sweethead? we need more details about "choppy/jerky play back" and "i always have a bad playback" cos  have thousands ways to get bad results and only one way to good results. why don't you post the link to your unanswered posts, then we don't have to search it all! |
Password, you don't have not even one unanswered post!

thanx jorel and pro for responding. i started using dvd2svcd using the defalt settings and made like three perfect cd's but then i tried Phil's script adding them in avisinth.ini then i tried installing the proper dll's. this is where every thing went wrong. ok here it goes
http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11612 this topic pretty much is why it does not create the .tpr file and how do i solve this. http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11629 this is asking specificly after i figured out what was wrong but not solved so i gave up then i switched to facar using bazzy's guide http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11808 facar worked ok for the first encode (i think) then started getting choppy/jerky playback then i tried installing the proper dll's needed for Phil's script. then started getting choppy playback again P.S. managed to save a script from the dvd2svcd log menu LoadPlugin("C:\PROGRA~1\DVD2SVCD\AVISYN~1.5PL\Mpeg 2dec\MPEG2D~1.DLL") MPEG2Source("C:\PROGRA~1\DVD2SVCD\Movie\DVD2AV~1.D 2V") nf=0 ResizeTo=0 global ResizeMethod=1 DebugMode=0 GammaCorrection=1.0 Hue=0 Saturation=1.0 Brightness=0 Contrast=1.0 DetectedTop=10 DetectedHeight=462 OverscanH=0.05 OverscanV=0.05 BlockOptimization=0 AsoTV=1 global Bicubic_b_Value=0 global Bicubic_c_Value=0.6 DestinationWidth=352 DestinationHeight=180 DestinationTop=30 DestinationBottom=30 LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\Avisynth2.5 Plugins\SimpleResize\SimpleResize.dll") # Import("C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\Avisynth2.5 Plugins\FACAR\qmf15b1.avs") # Import("C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\Avisynth2.5 Plugins\FACAR\QMF_functions.avs") # Import("C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\Avisynth2.5 Plugins\FACAR\PreResize.avs") Import("C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\Avisynth2.5 Plugins\FACAR\FACAR.avs") # Import("C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\Avisynth2.5 Plugins\FACAR\PostResize.avs") Undot() Asharp(1, 4) STMedianFilter(8, 32, 0, 0 ) MergeChroma(blur(1.58)) MergeLuma(blur(0.1)) SwitchThreshold = (Width<=352) ? 4 : (Width<=480) ? 3 : 2 ScriptClip("nf = round(YDifferenceToNext())"+chr(13)+ "((nf >= SwitchThreshold) && (nf < 30)) ? unfilter(-(fmin(nf*2,100)),-(fmin(nf*2,100))) : TemporalCleaner(6+nf,11+nf) ") function fmin(int f1, int f2) { return (f1<f2) ? f1 : f2 } function ConvertToYUY2(clip c){ return isYV12(c) ? c : convertToYV12(c) } this is using facar |
hey Pro,
he wrote "unanswered posts" and not " unanswered threads". better is let password show us where are this posts with links...then everybody that want to help don't need to search like you did, right? ...posting all unanswered links, password is helping the "helpers". think: if (yes,IF) he have 5 unanswered posts and ten members want to help, this "helpers" will need to do the same search. edited> hey, he posted the links "seconds" before my post. |
jorel you wrote "headac3he in d2s works using sweethead only...are you using sweethead?" do i need to install it ? i never installed before.
|
just like to say thanx for helping me :D
P.S. i made a few good kvcd's before without maually installing it (i think) |
yes, works perfect!...you don't knew that?
 important: sweethead don't work with "use frame selection" in D2S. get it here and follow the Kwag's instructions: http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1560 |
thanx jorel i will give it a shot .
P.S. is this going to solve the choppy playback? also i just realized when i had to make my mp2 manually it was at 48khz instead of 44.1khz is that maybe the problem for jerky playback for kvcd cause i heard someone say 48khz has to be with skvcd |
no its 44.1 with kvcd n ksvcd
|
o n check the other thread, i replied but late, sorry.. check your elementry files, no need for sweet head, becuz u r using the kvcd plugin, as i presume, i also recomend to stick with default besweet.
anyway check your elementry files, see if they are jerky. |

depend of the standalone player and deserve little tests cos the file size is the same but 48k sounds better! |

i use the kvcd plugin so do i still use sweethead?
|
dont use sweethead, just stick with besweet, should be able to select it wen choosing the kvcd resolution with the plugin
|
should i install d2s under C:\ and not C:\programs?
|
i dont think thats your problem, but if you want go ahead
|
thanx
P.S. do you think i can put subs in using facar? |
tell you the truth, i never tried, give it a go, n tell me how it goes, should work...
good luck ps. after such a long time, i decided to use autofitcd plugin, available from http://www.dvd2svcd.org follow the kdvd guide, n u'll understand how to use that instead of facar. kdvd guide is on the kvcd guide page, but the link is at the top!! good luck once again |
thanx bazzy but i am going to use facar but maybe next time i will use autofit
