Thanks cweb I wonder if the Mpeg 2 problems have been sorted out. :)

I recompiled today's mplayer cvs using this ffmpeg release as it's libavcodec (under mingw, win98) and I did not manage to use it with readavi. It seemed like it was reading it, but the test clip result was blank. I might experiment later when I have some more time available. I'm still using Tmpgenc for my mpeg2 encodes right now.

Thanks for testing it cweb. :)

Hi,
I found mencoder libavcodec to be more updated than this version: the CVS version don't have any changes since 9 months?! I'm just downloading ffmpeg source and mplayer/mencoder last CVS snapshot, to see wich one is more reccent. Salu2 Fabrice EDIT: just ot confirm: mencoder CVS is up-to-date, with last ffmepg libavcodec changes... (FFMPEG CVS sucks...) |

Last mods to libavcodec are still dated February 2004. So this build is not very usefull. -kwag |
