hey ppl. i got 22 xvid cips at baout 20 mins each and dey are about 177mb each, when i convert them to kvcd the file size is 250mb. Wen i convert a normal avi with no dixv or xvid encoding the file size got smaller. i was wondering if there was anyway i can convert the kxid to normal avi, so i can have smaller kvcd files.

The size of the target IS NOT related to the source format !
The size of the KVCd is related ONLY to the CQ value you use in tmpgenc !

Will you understand that changing a video format isn't lossless ? Yu can't just decide to convert form a format to an other just for a size reason !

Note: I removed you other thread on the same subject.
