Divx To DVD Audio Sync Problems

I Have been capturing old vhs recording as a divx file and having great success with picture and sound quality

I'v been using Virtualdub 1.4 to remove any unwanted footage
and also to remove the audio so i can recode into ac3 or mp2 files

I then use ffmpeggui to recode audio into ac3 or mp2

For the video i use TMPGEnc to recode into mpeg2 for dvd

At this stage all is fine audio and video sync up well with each other

however ?

When it comes to authoring the dvd using (DVDLAB and TMPGEnc DVD Author). The audio starts out sync to the video but after about 12 minutes the audio goes out of sync both on my pc and standalone dvd Player....any suggestions on how to solve this ?

Please Someone Help...................

As I do not know ffmpeggui it's easy to say it is the guily :-)
But more seriously, try to use reputed tool like besweet. Use virtuldub to extract it aswav and then convert it into mp.

Else, when you use ac3, try to use ac3fix before to author.
