i used the ntsc 704x480 template and burned a 1 minute long file to vcd using nero. when i play it in my sony dvd player, the picture appears to be extremely magnified. it's as if the entire picture is cut into 4 equal squares, and the top left square is filling my entire tv screen. I could only see the top left portion of the man's head in the video. ive searched for a couple of hours for an answer, but no luck.

Here are the specifics of what i did:

used the above said template to encode the file(which was originally 352x240, which may be the problem). the file was about one minute long(in order to do a quick test).

I did the same thing on two other longer files(about ten minutes each), and got the same result.
my main goal is just to be able to create a vcd with great quality(as opposed to the vcd's i've been creating)

im sure this has happened befor, any help is greatly appreciated.

thanx in advance

Hi glamdrac,

Try to burn one of the samples in the page. See if it displays correctly.
Also, you didn't mention what Sony model you have.

Sounds like an resolution issue. Try a test at standard 352*288/240 (PAL/NTSC). My sony 715, not a new model but anyway, sometimes act's like that when it can't handle the resolution. So try at standard and if that solves the problem work your way up to see where the limit are.
