easy way to convert movies from divx/xvid to DVD?

whats the easy way to convert movies in formats of divx / xvid to format of dvd (i heve a dvd burner ) .

i converted my movies to *.m2v but my nero is asking for other files to burn on dvd media iread most of the guides here but i didint sucsses .
