MovieStacker: Need a complete guide!
Hi I just registered to site after a good month of reading posts, and
printing out a ton of guides. Im getting close to making an o.k. disk. Im using the complete kvcd guide from scratch, and I noticed that it is not up to date with moviestacker. Will there be an update soon is all I really want to know. I will have more questions when I am better prepared. I have problems with it reseting to svcd, and loading the templates/.pst . I guess it's making a script, but my files end up way too small. Just need a complete guide and some time. Thanks Kool Site!!! |
Guides, especially the ones posted a sticky post here by members that very often 1/ don't have big skills in KVCD when they write the guide, 2/ vanish from the forum quite after they post their guide, are NOT maintained.

Hi Mr. Pink,
Check the guides on the main site at www.kvcd.net and also the "Weethet" guides at http://www.weethet.nl/english/video_kvcd_intro.php -kwag |
:D :D Hey, Thanks for the quick response.
Like I said I want to be prepared, and try to find answers myself before asking you to help me. I will check those out. As I stand right now I am using the script moviestacker makes then going into TMPGenc 2.58 adding kvcd template, making CQ adjustment, encoding ES video, multiplexing outputed m1v with m2 audio. I guess I just need to learn more about scripts. Thanks again, I'll get back to ya' in a week. |
After going to the links. I need to add that this is part of my problem.
These are the guides I am refering to. If I go with the weet guide I use the wizard, and encode audio with video. Let's assume It's AC3 that I have converted to wav then m2. From scratch I go into moviestacker ( I will get 1.1.1 to work with guide) I want to spend my time learning to do it right. Even if it seems too complex to me at the moment. So I guess I am reading the right guides I just have to keep working at it. kvcd from scratch v1.1 implies that this guide will be updated. So I will downgrade to v1.1 and continue with this guide. |
