Bitrates: Completely Lost...
 
ok i read "simple guide on making kvcds" and it says i you can EASILY use cqmatic to detirmine to size of the file once it is done but i have no clue how it works! im creating a .m1v using tmpgenc....i saved the projhect as a text file as the directions said but after that what do i do?

You open CQMatic, you load the project. In CQMatic window you have a button to open Calcumatic but you can open it by hand.

In calculmatic, you load the source, set the parameters you want for your work and click on "calcultate". Then you set in CQMatic the values "minutes" and "bitrate" according to what calcumatic gave to you.

You select "x1" or "x3" prediction (the last is 3 time longer than the former one but more accurate) and if you want a "full process" (prediction + encode" or a prediction only. Then you start the process.
