Avi with audio sync problems?

Hi all,

i have here an .avi (divX) that i want to burn into a kvcd.

Apart from a VERY bad image, that i will ask for solutions on a separated thread later on, it has a very strange sound sync problem:

the audio starts perfectly in sync, but after a few minutes (it is 44min long), the audio starts to get out of sync progressively to the point of being absurdly out of sync by the end of the video!!

is there a way to fix this, so i can have a perfectly in sync .mpg for the kvcd??

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

thanks!

PEACE!

mabhz

Ps - perfect sync is a must because its a guitar lesson video.

If this really run like this you have no other choice than cut the Xvid in two parts and encode separately the part with no sound problem and the one with sound problem.
On the second part you will have to find the correct stretching to apply on the audio and make a lot of test ! You just need virtualdub and besweet for that.
