Encoding: IVTC, tmpgenc or avisynth?

finally!

ive run into a dvd where i cant use the forced film option. so this makes me a newbie... once again. heheh. for anyone out there with experience, should i use the IVTC (24 fps flicker prioritized) in tmpgenc or should i use avisnth's decomb dll with the decimate command?

tmpgenc seems a bit lenghty in pocessing time, but appears to be the frontrunner. any ideas?
