Problems
--------
1. Try the 352x240 resolution as it offer the best compatibility.
2. Try the MPEG-2 version of the template and burn as SVCD.
3. For KVCDx3 change the output resolution from 528x576 to 544x576, which is the 3/4 FULL mode.
4. You can also try burning as SVCD. Not as VCD.
5. Try increase minimum bitrate. 650 kbps as a good start.
6. Change the template encoding from MPEG-1 Video CD(non-standard) to MPEG-1 System(automatic).
7. Try set the VBV to 40 or 22.
8. You can try with the TMPEG tools to do a De-Mux from your created mpeg file. This will create 2 files. For example movie.m1v and movie.mp2. Your video and audio files. Now, you can use BBmpeg to Re-Mux the 2 files as SVCD back to a single file (
http://www.vcdhelp.com/bbmpegedit.htm , on Program Stream Checkings uncheck Add SVCD scan offsets and Align sequence headers), or you can try using the simple multiplex in TMPEG tools to do the same. Burn as SVCD.
9. Some people have reported problems with the CQ mode on some players. You can also try encoding as MVBR instead of CQ.
10. In Nero use MPEGAV/ENTRYSVD instead of MPEG2/ENTRYVCD (for non-complaint DVD Players).
11. Try change the vertical resolution to the PAL correspondent without changing the framerate. EX: 352x480 -> 352x576
12. Try change the fps to 30.
Fit to CD
---------
13. Here is a tip if your movie is too long for the KVCDx3. If your movie is a high action scene, go for the KVCDx2 352x480 PLUS. If it's a drama type, low action, then go for the KVCDx2 704x480 PLUS. If you use the 704x480 for a very high action movie, and you have a large TV, you may see small macro blocks on those scenes. You won't see that on the 352x480 PLUS template.
