KVCD: Wrong Speed Audio?

Ok, I thought I had the hang of this, but I was wrong.

I'm encoding a 5 minute test clip, and each time
I end up with the audio out of sync, and slow, or
in sync and slow.

I'm using tmpgenc to encode audio and video
I tried headache, and multiplexing afterward
and I tried avisynt in tmpgenc, but no combination
is working.

Obviously I must be missing something somewhere.

Does anybody have any ideas?

I almost forgot.
The files play ok in my Apex 1100, and on the computer with powerdvd
but have problem on my Sony DVP-330

thank

hi,

check to make sure that the sampling frequency is set to 44100hz for the kvcd and ksvcd templates. If you use Headac3he, check the box next to "resample to 44.1 khz"

Ah HAH!!!!

I found the answer, but I am not sure why it is the answer...

I looked at the audio track that I was multiplexing in. It was already
44khz. I resampled it down to 128bps and remultiplexed it.
I figured the only reason for doing this would be to make a smaller file.
For some reason though, it now works on my Sony dvd player.

Now just to tweak the video so it isn't too dark, and I've got it.
