KVCD: 8MB for 1 minute without audio?
 
Not a long time ago, i ripped the DVD of Blade 2, to make a VCD with the KVCD Plus Template (352x240).

To check the quality of the final result, i make a sample of 1 min., without audio, and... It takes 8 MB!

It is normal??

The modifications which I made is in the bitrate, i change the maximum bitrate to 1550 and minimum bitrate to 500, it is the reason?

The result is normal :D
You probably encoded a one minute of high action scene. If you encode another part, one with low activity, your file might be between 5 to 6 MB. It's really an average after you encode your complete movie.
