As in title.
I currently record at 12x on TDK brand discs, so relatively good quality media.
i play KVCDx3 encoded mpgs in my XSVCD incompatible Teac DV-2150, which hasn't worked with any of the previous versions of KVCD templates. However i managed to get KVCDx3 working, although there is a little bit of jerkiness.
The jerkiness is probably due to my player - but does burning CDs at a faster speed cause jerkiness?

thanks

Here is a text extracted from the FQA of the VCDEase Official Site:

First, be warned that burning at any higher than 4X can and does cause playback problems for some people. If you have burnt fast and have any problems please try again at a slower speed. A good approach is to start burning at speed 2X. Next time, try 4X, then 8X and then 12X,... until you are certain that you have reached the highest speed allowed by your drive/media/computer with no problems with the VideoCD's.

I had problems burning above 8x, but it was a problem with my burner.
Now (with a new burner) I'm burning at 40x with no problems.

yesterday I was listening to a friends mp3 music cd and suddenly I heard the loud high-pitched squeak that occurs when I burn my kvcds at 32x. He said he also uses 32x speed so maybe the slower burn speed is better for music cds too
