DGMPGDec 1.0.12 .d2v files

Has anyone tried DGMPGDec 1.0.12 by Donald Graft? It's his latest modification of DVD2AVI which fixes some lost frame issues among other things. Unfortunately with MStacker 2.0.0 beta 3 I can no longer open .d2v files created by this program. The error message I get is '720x480' is not a valid floating point value. I don't know if anything can be done until the new MovieStacker is released. By the way, any idea when that will be? IT's been so long!!!

it isn't compatible with the last movistacker. Lets wait for the next release.

ya I've switched to fitcd v1.2.3 which does support the new dgindex .d2v files. Has anyone heard from Muaddib lately? Haven't heard much progress on the new moviestacker since April.

... an update,

I'm using MovieStacker v2.1.0 (I think it is not available now due to licensing problems or something), and I get the same DGIndex version (1.0.12).
Same "'720x480' is not a valid floating point value" problem here  .

I would prefer to keep with MovieStacker, but I'm afraid it isn't compatible...

Hi,

Donald changes the d2v file format, so Moviestacker has to be adapted to support this files.
Meanwhile, you can get DVD2AVIdg, wich is the DVD2avi modified version, but with old d2v format.
Or use FitCS.

Gracias Fabrice  ,
I was afraid of that. Does DVD2AVIdg make many difference with DVD2AVI?. Sure I'll find the info when I download it, but your explanation will be more clear  .

Thank you for your trust! :)
The only difference between the 2 versions is that the DVD2AVIdg executable is the 'repaired' version (fixes some lost frame issues among other things)

Salu2
