Hi,

I tried using KVCDx3 but my final VCD looks distorted ( wider than should be ) on the horizontal direction, when played on the DVD player, and presents 2 horizontal black borders, on top and bottom of TV screen.

I think the problem has to do with settings on TMPGEnc ...

1 - Video Arrange Method :
If I use Full Screen Keep Aspect Ratio, I get the problem described.
If I use Custom Size, it seems not distorted, and shows Fullscreen on TV set, but the quality of image is not the same as with Full Screen K.A.R.

2 - Don't know if I need to ( or how to ) set other settings, such as the source aspect ratio, and other related to this issue.

I would appreciate any help.
Thank's.

Use FitCD. Then use source aspect "Full Screen". NOT keep aspect.

Kwag : I will look into FitCD.

But that means I will have to reencode my captured AVI file (which took more than 5 hours to encode ).

Isn't there a way or setting on TMPGEnc to use your KVCDx3 template without having to work with FitCD and Avisynth ? ( I suppose FitCD will generate the .avs which will then be opened with TMPGEnc ).

Thank's for you reply.
