Hi all. I want to thank you in advance for any help you give me. I have used tmpgenc without a problem for two years. A week or so ago, my tmpgenc stopped accepting audio. Whereas I used to press browse and it would open up both video and audio, now only the video opens. I try to add the audio and it gives me an error saying it is not in an acceptable format. Does anyone know what may have happened?

Again, thanks.

-Joey

Sorry, I am new to asking for help. I did in fact update to service pack 2 and it was my best guess for the problem. I did a search to see if anyone was experiencing problems with sp2 and nothing was found. I've updated many other things, like antivirus software and such, but no major new programs. Just updates. Avi is giving me the problem. I used to be able to simply insert the avi and it would convert. Now, it won't accept any avi audio at all. I've tried all of the different templates by the way, even without kvcd.
Thanks,
Joey

use the tool called GSPOT and see what is the codec used for the audio on taht avi, and check if Gspot tells you that it can render the audio or if there is an error.
