sory to bug u all again.

i was just wondering what was the link to the TMPGenc templates.

also i was going to use the resolution of 512x348 how do i know what resolution sizes work. according to the scroll over in TMPEGenc it says my x and y values have to be multiples of 16 which 512x348 are, so i would just like to have confirmation on the use of 512x348.

also i was testing the muxing of my one movie. and when it had finished, the screen ratio had changed to 1:1 even tho i had set it to 4:3 NTSC 525lines. now i also chose 4:3 ratio for the source video (avi). i heard in the past that for avi i need to choose 1:1 is that correct??

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

READ the guides and use the search button on the top of the pages.
You come from a thread where the same question (templates) was asked and someone already posted the answer.
You obviously come from the AVI/MPEG4/DivX/XviD/etc... world.
Some of the rules you used are not applied when it comes to MPEG-1/2.
Valid resolutions ARE in the guides and in the specs page.
Both the templates, the guides and the specs pages are available at www.kvcd.net.
Just look at the top/left hand and you will see it under the Main menu.
We will be available for any reasonable question you have after you get more information on what you are doing now.
Also if your goal is to convert from AVI to KVCD there is a dedicated part of the forum named "AVI(DivX, XviD, MPEG-4) to KVCD/KDVD".
For a simple approach to encoding from AVI to KVCD you can try a tool named DIKO which also has it's own part of the forum named after the tool.
Cheers
