Hi there,

My friend uses a program called DVD Santa and i was wondering if anyone knows if i can use KDVD setings with this program?

it dows allow to add multi films and sorts out the settings itself but just want to know if KDVD settings would allow for better results.

cheers

I saw once the result issued from this tool and the problem was the audio that is awfull.

For the video, using the KDVD parameters will enhance a lot the result. Look into the settings if there is a way to change the matix used for encoding. And look also for the GOP structure. I didn't test the tool enought to see what it affords.

Cheers mate,

From what i can remember ther is an option to change the matrix, can't remember about the Gop though.

the one avi he converted looked ok but that was only one movie on a full disc. The audio sounded ok but i suppose if you add another film it will reduce the audio greatly.

anyway i'll have a mess around with it tonight,

cheers again.

@Dialhot

Just checked it out at work,

You can change the Matrix but cant adjust the GOP Structure (not that i can se)

in the old Tmpeg templates the Matrix is laid out in a grid, in dvdsanta it is all on one line, do i read of the Tmpeg grid from left to right?

cheers
