KVCD: Choppiness During Play?

hello again,

well i looked at the supported screen res for my dvd player. and decided 704x480 would be good for my 21min video. now the problem was that when i was watching a 30sec test of the video on my dvdplayer, i had steady chopiness. i presume this is because of my fps?

the original avi had 25.000fps. what i did was i split the a/v. then converted my audio, wav to mp2 (25.000 to 23.976). now my video portion (avi) was still in 25.00fps, but i believe that in my last kvcd project, i also left the video at 25.000 and then selected 23.976 when creating my m1v in tmpgenc. when i muxed the m1v and mp2 (which are techinally both 23.976 now) it played fine. i believe i followed all the correct procedures. could it be my frame rate? or screen resolution causing this chopiness?

thx again

but you must mark the "Do not convert Framerate" in the "Advanced" Settings.
Maybee the framerate setting will change to 25 and you must set it back to 23.976 by hand.
