Expert HD from pixel tools
 

Hi all.. I just found out about this program and got the demo version from here...

and was wondering what everyone thinks of it... i have just being tinkering with it, but the actual price tag on it is ridiculous :( 3 grand. anyways 30 days is alot of time :)

I was hoping to see how fast it was but am still unable to get any type of .avi to load into it..

I've played with it, but the quality is nowhere near TMPEG, CCE or any libavcodec based encoder we've tried.

I was just really interested in the speed that it advertises..


Does CCE or Tmpgenc have option to use SSE instructions for faster encoding time? (complete newb question) or will they be implementing ya think?

TMPGEnc (not sure about CCE) does use SSE or SSE-2 instruction set.
