Saturation problem?

Strangest problem, using the latest TMPGENC, AviSynth 1.06, and the KVCD LBR template. Every scene will continue to saturate with more and more red, until it almost looks like it has gone 'negative'. As soon as a scene change occurs, all the colors are back normal. Has anyone seen this before?

I will play with a few settings and version of avisynth to make it go away, but this is the first I've seen or heard about such an oddity. The latest FitCD offers a line ConvertToRGB() or somesuch, which the comment says it is for TMPGEnc, so I had it enabled. Would this be the cause?

Well, finally figured it out. Turns out I was in codec hell, and hence the pink (that was also key... searching for 'pink' not 'saturation' in the vcd help forums). For some reason, I had a bad/wrong version microsoft mpeg4 codec. I grabbed some random stuff via google, and things seem happier now :) Can't wait to see how much I broke in other areas with these codecs. Muahah.
