I want to backup (obvius using KDVD methods ) a special edition DVD: it's a movie on two separated DVDs.
What is the best method to join it and than manual recode it on a single KDVD?

Thanks.

Alternatively you can rip the two discs in different folder and then create the d2v project file, loading first the VOBs of the first disc and then the VOBs from the second disc so that the whole movie is parsed in the one d2v file. Then process as usual.

the very easy and best way is using dvdshring "Re-Auhthor" loading the main movies and some extras if needed from the 2 dvds. do a backup to hdd folder choosing "No Compression" .this will give an big dvd structure folder and only one d2v project is needed to the whole job.

Thanks to all for the reply.

I think the most simple is Boulder method, loading all Vobs in DVD2AVI and saving a single project, and then proceding as usually .

Thanks!

in portuguese forum have one incomplete guide showing exactely how to do that.
need big space cos first you have to rip the dvds one by one with dvddecrypter, but is secure cos solve the sincro audio issues when mixing differents dvds
you choose the chapters or the main movie that you want and in the end build a big dvd structure to do your project or to burn if you have a dual layer driver. Italian to/from Portuguese can be read...can you read portuguese? follow the pictures, is the easy way.
