MeWig - new mencoder GUI for Windows

I found that lately on SF.net.

While Mencoder forum is closed I post this here.
For now I have no time to test it and write more (I even don't have time to write anything, cause I'm half asleep), so I only point source:

The target file is a avi container, it has not posibility of set matrix, in fact it doesn't define anyone, it hasn't also a lot of settings necessaries to encode a decent KVCD/KDVD.

Video-codecs, which may be used inlude
Mpeg4 (DivX5)
Ms-Mpeg4 (DivX 3.11)
Mjpeg
lossless Mjpeg
Wmv 7/8
so no MPEG1/2 :x

Cause the main purpose in the beginning of mencoder and libavcodec was encoding to mpeg4! Thats also IMHO why we still do suffer from some DVD Player specs. incompatibilities at mpeg2.

I ran program and it has mpeg1/2 codecs also, but options, filter, etc., are rudimentary.
