Why does the KDVD -FULL allow DVD-r to work?

Why does this template allow DVDr movie playback on PS2 to be perfect whilst the half tamplate has stoppings etc. all the way through?

and yet I've some multi DVDrs that are encoded at 356x288 and these work flawless?

can anyone come to a conclusion cos I've tried everything :(

thanx guys

Hi Borgy,

It could be the authoring program you are using to make the DVD. I personally have made many KDVD half D-1's and they all play in every DVD player I've tried. Don't know about the PS/2 though

Hi kwag,

I have used Spruce, meastro and DVD IT PE and the results are the same each time :( can't get to the bottom of it. As I've just purchased a Disney DVD off someone for test purposes and he used spruce up and it uses the lower resolution 356x288 and this works perfect?

Mine all work on DVD players 100% but not on PS2 :( anyone else help me on this one?

thanx for your quick reply m8.
